Hi,

I'm a mechanical engineer and have over the past 15 years or so I've really enjoyed electronics as a hobby. Recently I got into designing my own analog/audio circuits and fabricating them, pcb design, etc. I've learned a ton from this forum as well as EEVblog, electronics-tutorials, etc. As much as I've learned, my knowledge is still spotty. I looked into getting a MS in EE: I would have to take 4-5 undergrad courses before I even start masters level courses. At 53, I am not sure I have that kind of bandwidth. And I'm not sure a MS EE is what I want. I just want to learn more to aid in my analog circuit designs.

Coursera has some decent courses.
Linear Circuits: DC Analysis
Linear Circuits: AC Analysis

Looking through the syllabus, I probably understand AC signals better than DC. I took circuit analysis in college, probably 1/2 of DC Analysis would be review. But I could benefit from both courses. These two look great, but it's not clear to me what I'd take after them.

Looking for feedback on Coursera or other forms of learning EE.

Yes, I've "skimmed" through a lot of it. Great information. I think I need actual homework assignments to force me to go to the required depth of learning.
The books that are there do include practice problems that can be quite challenging. I have read through most of the one text book that I found and there are plenty of problems to get your head spinning.
