can someone tell me what do i have to change in first schematic to make it counts backwards from 60 to 0?

That schematic you linked at was flawed, so it's not the best basis for our conversation.

I suppose you want a decade mod 60 counter? That is, a counter that will display decimal numbers into two 7 segment displays. If so, let's start from the basics. Can you build a down counter that counts from 0 to 1 (0,9,8,7...)?

If you can do so, the system is as simple as duplicating the unit and using the appearance of a 9 in the units to clock the decades counter.

Is that clear?
