See figure attached for the question and the second figure for the textbooks proposed solution.

When sketching M(ω) for part (i), should the signal in (a) not have impulses with a magnitude of π?

What should the magnitudes of the signals be in part (ii) be?

I understand everything else, just the magnitudes of the impulses in screwing me up.

Thanks again!

One thing to help here is to remember that sum of the magnitude of the pulses is equal to the signal power. So, for part a, the frequency spectrum should have a magnitude of 1/2 A, where, A = 1 in this case.
See here

As far as part ii goes, multiply it out and perform the Fourier Series ;)
