I just need to know the name of this connector. It is a connector for a Sony tv (kdl 26ex550) power board. Help will be appreciated.

Does it need to be unplugged frequently?
If not, just solder it in directly, unplug from the wall!

If you cannot identify or buy a replacement connector what will you do?
Here is what I would do. I would remove the existing connector and replace it with a different kind or just solder the power cable directly to the board.

Alternatively, there is enough wire left to splice into it and retain the connector.

 

I would imagine that connector is VERY rarely disconnected?
Or even need to be.

True. It will solder it onto the board.
