Changing the terminating resistor (Z_L) from 50(Ω) to 50*2^N where N=+-1 (total of 2 different values)
* Part 1: Find reflection coefficient and then find incident and reflective voltage
V+ = Incident
V- = Reflective
VL = (V+) + (V-)
Γ = (V-)/(V+) = (Z_lL - Z_0)/(Z_L+Z_O) = 1/3
(VL/V+) = 2*Z_L/(Z_L+Z_O) = 4/3
---> V_L = (V+)*(4/3) = (V+) + (V-)
At this point I have 1 equation and 2 unknowns. What am I missing? I feel like I'm going in circles. This should be a simple problem.
