There are a number of problems with that diagram.

1) Be aware that AAC tutorials use electron flow and not conventional current flow.

2) That drawing still does not show which way the coil is wound. If you see it a certain way it is all in your mind. You can make it one way or the other simply by forcing your mind to think about it, just like the spinning dancer illusion.

Actually, it is the Right Hand Rule for conventional current flow.

Simple, if you use electron flow, then Right Hand Rule becomes Left Hand Rule.

But then it gets confusing when you get to current generator (dynamo) because Lenz's Left Hand Rule becomes Right Hand Rule.

How does one remember if you're coming or going?:rolleyes:
