hi, i am very new at making c++ code. but what i need is an example with 3 different pins on the 16f628a chip that will make my led fade from red-purple on the color spectrum. i know i need some sort of pwm signal output but i have no idea how to do that.

Microchip has an application note entitled "Software PWM Generation for LED Dimming and RGB Color Applications." I suspect you may want to give it a hard look.
