In the last days, every time I enter this site, I get the same:

I have no idea how that service "sees" me every time but I find it ridiculous / excessive.
From times to times I am even required to click in the "I am not a bot" box.

The anti-bot measures are, unfortunately, very necessary. The automated spamming of websites has reached epidemic levels. The Cloudflare check is part of an arms race with the spammers.

It is very annoying but without it the forum would likely descend into noise and become unmanageable for the moderators.

Eventually, I suspect we will find more sites requiring certificates for access or something similar in order to bypass the need to such checks but for now, I don't know of any better way to protect sites that allow user input.

What does an automated spammer do to this website?
What does the spammer gain from spamming these sites?
I've said in another thread that I get 5 or more spam calls a day from "business loan" providers, each from a different phone number.

Will I ever purchase such a product, or even entertain such a call by providing the requested information?

Never.

But the calls must be profitable, otherwise they wouldn't spend their time and money making such calls.

Same goes for spam to websites such as this.

I'm now using "AI" to screen such calls, to great (perfect) effect, and it is completely unobtrusive to me.

Perhaps there's such a solution for websites such as AAC.

I think it's AI's using websites for training; not spamming. So ensuring AI bots aren't using the site is necessary.

I don't know what Cloudflare is actually checking, but the AI's are smart enough to get around Captcha pictures.

In the last days, every time I enter this site, I get the same:
It's been happening to me for much longer than that on my Chromebook. The verification sometimes takes so long that I close the Chromebook and connect via my PC.
