Circuits Please help

Hi Everyone

Can someone please help me as I'm truly stummped.

I'm trying to work out the current at the 40 Ohm resistor

Id appreciate any help

Are you required to solve it using a specific method (i.e. Kirchoff's Voltage Law, Superposition, Millman's Theorem, etc.)?

The circuit you have been given can be redrawn into the form shown in the Example Circuit presented in the AAC Tutorials section of this website. I suggest you study the example and its solution and see if that will help you in solving the problem you have before you.

Once you have reviewed the example, take a stab at applying the technique to your specific circuit and post your efforts. I am sure that one of our members will be more than happy to assist you in determining where you may have veered off the path with your equations.
