Because we Brits are like that. When someone says "don't eat red meat" we feast on steak everyday, when someone says "don't drink to excess" we go out every night. There is a cultural thing where we don't like being told what and what not to do, and we are naturally suspicious of "expert advice". Most people in the UK saw the Bird-Flu thing as more fear-mongering from a nanny-government. But we are getting seriously off-topic with this one!how come?
