First post here. I have this Japanese made Electronic Control Module (Control GP-Electronic 102-8008) that runs a Caterpillar 330L escavator. It's a bit on the rare side and I want to have it tested out. I can't seem to find anyone that is familiar with the box. Most rebuilders seem to only touch the domestic (US made) boxes. I can find rebuilds online and believe they are all sourced probably from a single supplier in Japan, but they are very pricy and I feel there is nothing wrong with my unit but just to make sure. I have also always wanted to get into testing and perhaps rebuilding ECM's. By chance does anyone have any suggestion how I can gain access to internal parameters of this ECM and go about testing if it is functioning properly? I have all the electrical schematics of the pins and what they operate but I don't have access to the internals.
