Hi all,

I've recently purchased a Hp82350B GPIB interface card as I would like to take screens of data from my HP1650B logic analyser. I have downloaded and installed the relevant drivers, and have Agilent IO Connections Manager installed, and it sees the instrument just fine.

However, I cannot figure out how to get the instrument to send information to the PC. Does anyone know of a good tutorial for this? I presume I will need to create some program, and have read some resources (ie: http://rfmw.em.keysight.com/rfcomms/refdocs/gsm/hpib_navigation.html) however, I simply do not know where to go from here.

Many thanks for your time, I really appreciate it.

IIRC, when you get the info on the display you get a 301 data point array. You will then have to format the data in a format that is useful to you, which usually means either writing a program to format the data yourself, or using some third party program.

EDIT: The 301 point array applies to HP/Agilent/Keyhole equipment.
