Pedantically, yes.

The cap is labeled as a 1000µF, 16VDC. [{(-semantics-)}]
As I said, everyone does it.

Interesting split: The aluminum electrolytic people still use uF for everything, such as 220,000 uF, while the supercap people call the same value 0.22 F. I guess that when your product line goes up to 10's or hundreds of farads, that's way too many zeros.
