Hi,
I have been reading different articals on choice of capacitors.
I am using a charge voltage of DC24-26Volts with an output of 2Amps.
I will be charging some caps to hold firing current.
This will be a short burst of via a SRC or some such device.
Anyway I have been given several different answers on voltage rating for the Caps.
Some say as close to operating voltage as possiable some suggest doubling the operating and rounding up.
Is there any rule of thumb that should be followed ?
or will any cap do ?
I will probally be using 2 X 4700uF in parallel which will hold enough energy for the task.
Thanks
Emmy
