I have a 1-1/2 HP 115/230 volt single phase induction motor It's wired for 115 volt. I am in need of math help calculating
the capacitor I need. to use this motor as a generator. The no load running amps is 18 amps. name plate lists 1.1 KW.
1720 RPM It has two 250uf 370v caps in parallel on it now. which would be 500uf This motor is a commercial size .
duty cycle is 100% This is everything on the name plate.
P.S. I forgot it's 4 pole
Thanks for any help, Ray
