I am trying to simulate a preamplifier using one 12AX7 on MultiSim9(students version) but it always tell me "Simulation Error log/ ... time Step too small. I really don't know what to do, and since I am no expert on software, but just trying to predict some funcioning points.

If someone could help, would be great!

Thank you

Time step is the discrete time increment the calculation is performed. Try with larger time step. Most SPICEs out there would deal with too small step automatically and would not issue an error because this condition is not fatal. I'm not really familiar with Multisim, but on other SPICEs derived simulator this kind of error usually means that there is something wrong with the convergence during the operating points calculation.
