I've got a Windows phone with an 8.1 operating system (which is now outdated) and it cannot be used with most VoIP apps (such as Skype).
I'm wondering if I could get a second phone (like a Samsung that is compatible with most VoIP apps) that uses the same phone number as my present phone?
However, I don't want to swap the SIM card from the existing phone so I'm wondering if I could get a new second phone (its own SIM card installed) but still use the old phone. I bought the existing phone from my service provider (which is AT&T) and it sells the most up to date phones. What happens if there are two phones with the same number ............ or should I just decommission the existing phone and just buy one new phone?
