I wanted to know how to calculate the input capacitors for the SN74LVTH16244 buffer.
the Vcc is 3.3V and the output voltage is 3.3V.

That's a digital circuit.
Why do you think it needs input capacitors?

I pulled this datasheet and looked at the chip... you don't use capacitors on input or output. If you need to filter Vcc, put a 0.1uF cap between Vcc and Ground.

By "input" I thought you meant the logic inputs.
The supply should be filtered with a 100nF ceramic cap directly from the V+ pin to the ground pin on each chip.

FYI: 0.1uF is the same as 100nF.

Rules of thumb here more so than calculations.

 

Experience has shown that ceramic capacitors in the size from 10nF to 100nF are effective at filtering the high frequency switching noise that digital circuits generate.
Typically the higher value of 100nF is recommended by most design sources.

Good point.
There's generally just one or two of those per board, not one per chip as is recommended for the small ceramics.
They take care of the any lower frequency noise that may be on the power bus.
