Hello,

I am a student of electronic engineering. I have a project in mind and tht is calculating the power consumption of a load through a battery. For this i have some idea in mind and tht is connecting an ADC for the battery and convert it to digital, and thn connecting it to a micro controller. Here the problem arises is how do i actually calculate and display the power given out my a battery.?? and one with any idea and considering to help are most most welcome.
Thank u in advance

The project has merit. If I understood your description you indicated that the micro would be running on the battery under test. I would advise that the microcontroller measuring the batteries health be powered by its own dedicated power source.

P=E*I
To get power (P), you will need to measure the battery voltage (E) and the current (I) to the load, then have the micro do the math.
