Everything I've been doing so far clearly points to a successful outcome. In other words, yes, it's working out as I've hoped... but I'm going to have to wait until it hits the market to see how well reality corroborates expectations.

 

Here's an interesting bit about the differences (or rather, similarities) between an alkaline and a lithium battery. Lithium batteries perform (that is, last longer) far better than alkalines when power demand is high. Almost three times as much, as a matter of fact.

But they will perform almost exactly the same when the power being drawn is very small:
