How much current?
What is being switched?

We can get them all to work at that distance. Is this for a switch to trigger an input pin on a microcontroller or the gate of a Mosfet. If anything else with higher current, your mileage may vary.

 

Also depends somewhat on the environment. If very noisy, you might need some mitigation.

In response, there are a number of questions that must be answered before anything better than random guesses can be provided.
First, what is the 5V being switched to?
Second, what is the required voltage and current of whatever the 5V is being switched to?
Third question, will electrical noise picked up by the wiring matter in the application?

Switching on a single LED indicator will work very well, but switching on a 5 volt supply to a complex processor board will not work well.
