Once Team-Right decided mainstream news was unacceptable, where else can they get their content? They painted themselves into a corner and must now rely on Fringe outlets, one-man outlets trying to get Google ad revenue by posting outrageous stories, "news" written by Some of Russia's troll team (and then "liked", "retweeted", "cross-posted" and commented on by the rest of the 1000 to "validate" the story).

At least some of us admit when there are holes in the mainstream media reporting but our loyal right guys will defend these anti-solar-type stories with their last breaths.

Actually both sides got played by the fake news thing it pretty evenly.

To claim otherwise just shows how much more of your own ignorance and or personal agenda/denial is still very much in play.

Well that, and your over the top reply to joeyd999 over "Our Power" pretty much shows you did not get his rather and painfully obvious word play joke on the word 'Power' nor its contexts towards NK which has both very little military power and electrical power compared to the US, both in military and civilian applications, either.

"Both" sides? That's probably true if your view of the world is Right and Left. Since my view of the world is pro-technology and common sense vs Pro-extremists and other idiots - my side didn't get played.

The 'fake' news thing started out with it being the right that was being called out about 'fake news'. Breitbart, Alex Jones, etc. It hurt so bad they did the only thing the could do, the thing KV, TCM, joeyd , et al have done to us centrists. The old, "I know you are what am I". Now they convinced themselves it's true, and they're the 'smart ones' with high intelligence. The sad thing is they even believe it.

Something is fishy about the MOAB bombing reports.

The media is reporting that bomb took out a network of caves and tunnels. They report that it was a GBU-43/B. And I have heard several military taking heads say that it NOT guided.

This in contradiction to what I have read about the device. This device is suppose to detonate.....32 inches above ground, so as not to deform (crater) the surface. It replaced the daisy cutter. It's to clear the area of obstacles for a LZ or other in-placements (artillery). It should flatten everything within a perimeter. I don't believe it would be too good for caves.

They have another.....the GBU-57A/B. Supposedly...this thing can penetrate up to 200 feet. And if it did penetrate very far.......I don't think one would get that plume. And I think the penetrator would rock the ground a good bit more. Maybe that explains the village reports.

I tried to find some after action photos.....to see the surface...but no luck. And both devices are guided devices. They would have to be.....with that launch.

Does anyone know the details...or is familiar with this?

Seriously?o_O

So now you're going to start claiming your in the middle and have been the whole time?

Maybe in your feeble mind that seems like a way out but the reality is no one here in their right mind that has any ability to remember anything you have shown yourself to stand for will buy it. Ever.

Too many here know your long running track record and love you call you out for it every time you fail to support yourself, which has been extramly often. First you failed to defend the liberal side you made very clear you supported. Then tried to feign utter and complete stupidity well beyond forgivable ignorance on all levels to try and get out of having to own up to your constant inability to support yourself (and failed at that too). So, now you are going for claiming you're middle ground?

Really? You think anyone here is going to buy that new BS tale that your 'middle ground' on everything/anything? :D

No one here but you and your buddies are stupid enough to ever fall for it. Most of the people here have shown they have fair middle ground views of everything ever covered and you, you story telling fail master goober, have yet to ever show yourself to be one of them.
IF you were and had been middle ground in your views and support of yourself you wouldn't have been called out constantly for your narrow minded highly biased views and general screwups to outright fails in supporting yourself since the begining of this thread some months ago! :p

Cripes. You're already getting called out on your claims of things as I type this! :(

Really? I haven't noticed. I think my posts have the phrase center, middle, non- extremist, reasonable, logical. I don't remember anyone calling me a liberal but you and Joeyd. Unless you and Joeyd are "everyone" in NoDak-ese.

Are you rally so dim that you believe anyone who criticizes Trump is a flaming liberal? I am very conservative fiscally. I am for an intelligently sized and equipped military, I am pro-education, I am pro choice, I am all about finding efficient and effective ways of insuring all Americans have a chance to pull themselves up by bootstraps and out of poverty and/or ignorance (no effective system has been found other than Luck yo this point), I am pro-reasonable gun laws, I am pro-punishment if cops and politicians who abuse their power, I am for a healthcare system that us at least as effective as Canada's (I.e. One that makes sure there is low infant mortality and makes sure joe shit the rag man isn't going to die of simple infections). I am pro-small business and de-risking small businesses by making sure a diagnosis of heart disease or diabetes in any employee doesn't raise healthcare costs so high the family has to close the business or fire the sick employee to stay in business. I am for funding afterschool activities (or summer "day camp" activities) so middle school and high school kids don't come home to empty houses and use this unsupervised time to find trouble. I am for funding scientific research that looks at the way (and places) we will live 10, 25, 50 years from now to make sure we understand how the actions we take today influence the way we must live.

I am for intelligent international policies that understand issues are not single decisions but highly complex optimizations or multifaceted compromises where nobody wins but nobody loses may be as good of an outcome as we can hope for.

I am for having president's that are willing to learn from their staff rather than waiting fir the leader of China to show up and have him walk through the reasons why the Chinese/US/North Korea situation is so difficult now and for many years back into history.

I can add more but our world has gone so crazy and binary (lacking compromise) in the last 25 years that I don't recognize it. So, if you want to call my sensible middle-of-the-road positions liberal, go ahead, I'll just put you in my basket of idiots.

My understanding is that it was not the penetrating variety. Just a big bomb with crude guiding. But having said that I think we are getting just a teensy weensy bit of propaganda along with some facts. Today it's reported 100 killed, not 30 something. I'm thinking what are they doing? Re-digging the tunnels looking for bodies? I can't imagine finding much of anything within a couple hundred yards of the blast.

You are right, it was not a "bunker buster". It is just a big-ass bomb. It was also announced that it exploded before hitting the ground (by design).

So...it was just the concussion that destroyed the underground network? That's interesting.

And your right......how does one count the dead in a collapsed tunnel or cave.

Perhaps the blast point was right in front main entrance. Maybe only the shockwave was sufficient. Or perhaps the O2 was sucked out and not that much damage to interior. Just entrance damage. They might have been able to do a body count.

And as you say...they sure wont tell you.

The surface unit is suppose to have a 32" plunger on the front of it for trigger. I was really surprised that those penetrators could go 200 feet deep. That's impressive.

And I was wondering......that blast film looked like it was in IR. So...was that plume......mostly smoke or heat?

Too wordy. Not gonna bother reading it. :p:D

But I will take a guess that you are now trying dig yourself out of that ignorant illiterate troll hole you spent weeks digging yourself into?

Good luck with that. ;)

My experiment proved my hypothesis was right. Did you learn anything from seeing such a long post from someone else?

Why would I do that. That seems counterproductive after all my effort digging the hole.
Good luck with that. ;)
Why would I need luck - I'm perfectly happy in the Troll Mansion that I spent weeks digging.

Well, with most people's long posts they generally have something that needs explaining in detail to make clear and are worth the read.

You on the other hand have given so little of value for so long I am now pretty sure whatever it is was the same pile of incoherent verbal diarrhea as you usually come up with, only larger, and thusly best stepped over.

Sort of like stepping on a bird dropping VS a cow pie. :p

Also, as I have come to see if ronv or shortbus vote for something of yours it's more than likely just a bunch of crap of no educational value and not worth anyone time to read. After all there a reason you three are likely now on more people's ignore lists than any other active members here I am a aware of.

Ignore list???? And yet you keep responding, some one isn't being truthful, outside of the WH.
