Why is Bountyhunter not able to log in today because this site says he is a Spammer?

I asked Audioguru because I thought he was also a member there, his name is listed on their front page. Problem is, the Electrotech site has suddenly locked me out as a "spammer" and I didn't even know what that was until I looked it up.

I asked Audioguru if he was still able to log onto their site. Obviously, I have no way of asking anybody on that site since I am locked out. This site is the only place I could communicate with anybody.

Having been banned from MajorGeeks and reinstated, I understand. Resentment lingers.

The point is I have no idea why I was abruptly banned for "being a spammer". I don't spam, I have never broken the rules, they screwed up big time and I was just curious as to why and/or if they care. Clearly they do not..

Obviously, because I can't post there I can't ask them what happened.

I guess I will delete the tag for that site and put it into the morons-R-us folder. Here is the message it now posts:

The administrator and owner of Electro-tech does not know how Bountyhunter became banned but now he is unbanned and they are talking about it.

I have been granted a benevolent unbanning for crimes I still have no idea were ever committed.

My curiosity is why I wanted to know the reason.

 

Had a similar experience in a engineering forum. I never could find out the actual reason since I was unable to contact anyone alive. I finally gave up and learnt to live with the frustration.

Good for you (and prospective power supply builders... )

 

I hate it when the police shoot you first before asking any questions.
Maybe the Spammer was Mountyhunter and not Bountyhunter.
