I have a Win10 System and an i5. CPU.
My System has a Graphics Card and the System has 8. GB of Memory.

I was going to put a Blue Ray Drive in the System.

But then I thought I could just get a Blue Ray Drive and Plug it into my USB 3. Port.

I know USB 3. has a Bandwidth of 85 Mbps.
And I know Blue Ray has a Bandwidth of 54 Mbps.

So I though my USB 3. will be able to Hold up ok.

So am I thinking Right?

If I am it is Easyer to just get a Blue Ray Drive that will Sit on my Self and Plug in USB 3. Port.

Then I do not have to Open my System and Install one.

Please Tell me if I am thinking the Right way?

Assuming no contention for resources, USB3 is fast enough.

Then I do not have to Open my System and Install one.
You're still going to need to provide power for the drive. If you open your case, you don't have to worry about that.

Well maybe I should Tell You what I Think I know and You can Tell Me if I am Right?

My Win10 DeskTop System has SATA3. Interfaces on the MotherBoard.
I know SATA3. has a Top Data Transfer Rate of 4,800 Mbps.

Now I found a Blue Ray Drive that is SATA1. and I know the Data Transfer Rate of SATA1. is 1,500 Mbps.

Now 4.k Data Transfer Rate is 25 Mbps and Blue Ray Data Transfer Rate is 54 Mbps.

So am I Right if the Blue Ray Drive is SATA1. it still would be able to Transfer all the Data for 4. and Blue Ray?

The answer to your question on data transfer rate will be in the specification of whichever Blue Ray storage drive you choose.

Thanks to everybody for the help.

But I do like the Blue Ray Drives for the PC.

I did See on the Specs that You Posted above that this Blue Ray Drive has 4. MB Buffer Cache Memory.

Is this to Low for a Blue Ray Drive?

This Drive will be used to Play 4. k HD DVDs.

The question will not be; will the USB Blue Ray drive play Blue Ray DVDs?.
It will be; do you have software capable of playing Blue Ray DVDs via USB on your computer?

The Blue Ray Drive above is for a SATA Drive You Install in Your System.

But it has a 4. MB Buffer Cache is this to Low for a 4. k DVD Player?
