Hi.
How is the data path in avionics to the black box FDR ?
A data output enabled altimeter, compass, temperature, RPM... multiplexed into the FDR ? Or what is the device that takes care of polling/streaming/sequencing/gluing it all ? Is it serial ?

All companies I had the chance to know providing the service of impact recording of any kind / degree, to heavy pieces of all kind during tansportation, have their own software and personel extracting the data from the recorders at specific points during the voyage.

 

Thanks, Agustín. Suspected that a 'Cachimba' brand of FDR would be examined/dissected/read by their own personnel with their retrieval instrumentation and interpretation programs. Big authority entities would not be capable to work on proprietary convoluted data.
ADAS, FDAU, DASU, MAU are some lettersoup bowls I saw.
