am working on a write up on auto timer off circuit for electronic appliances <t.v,dvd player pc>, cant find useful materials. need help

 

If you want a real time timer then it would better to buy a ready one. There are cheap ones in the market. If you want the device (TV, radio, etc) to switch off after a time duration when you set the timer then you can use a 555 and a relay.
