Hello, I own a very old boat with a sound system from 2003, it has no audio in, cassette, or anything like that. It is just an FM radio w/ built in amp. I purchased a cheap FM transmitter from Five Below, added an antenna, replaced DC power jack, and am now in the process of lengthening the 3.5mm audio cable. That is where I am stuck, I stripped an old Radioshack aux cord and found 3 wires - black, red, and bare wire. I have done some googling and found that normally red is the right channel, white is the left, and green is ground. But there is nothing like that here! I automatically assume that black is ground but that means the unshielded wire is left channel! please help!
