The correct MCU is the one that has at least the minimum hardware available to do the job. The hardware differences between the Atmega and PIC are enough to say that there is no "equivalent" -- as in, drop in replacement.Hi,
I'm looking for an ATMEGA328P PIC equivalent.
Will the 18F4520 do?
Cheers, Camerart.
Hi J,The correct MCU is the one that has at least the minimum hardware available to do the job. The hardware differences between the Atmega and PIC are enough to say that there is no "equivalent" -- as in, drop in replacement.
Don't choose a replacement based upon the corresponding capabilities of the original part. Choose it based upon the requirements of the project.
