Evaluation and development platform for the Atmel AT86RF215 Transceiver supporting 389.5-510 MHz, 779-1020 MHz, and 2.4 GHz.

Modulation is I/Q, but this controller has enough power to turn I / Q modulation in another by calculation: FM/AM

An amplifier at output power RF stage and we can transform in a ham transceiver.

I doubt what to buy:
1.The chip is cheap but very difficult to solder on PCB - 5$
2. ATREB215-XPRO 82$

The price difference is huge.
But I can do wiring the PCB with Press & Peel.

Two SMA connectors for operation at sub-1 GHz (389.5-510 MHz, 779-1020 MHz) and 2.4 GHz
