Irene is going up the coast,its a big storm..are you in the cone.
This another play by play storm,the third one to hit New York
City. Anyone have any local warning yet.do you look forward
to being in your first hurricane.

 

I've seen a few Hurricanes over here, but they've all be of the 'Hawker' variety.

 

In the cone, but it should be just a tropical storm by the time it hits us. Not my first hurricane, but my first as a home owner... That certainly changes your perspective!

 

When it passed Florida, it busted off the fence post holding on side of my back gate, and two tree branches to cut up. Not too bad. The fence post was sort my fault, had to fix most of my fence after Charley in 2004, and was a little light on time and materials, so on put in one post, instead doubling it up. Knew I'd have to redo it eventually, but held up fine for 7 years...
