Hi

I am studying about delta and wye connection, I have to say AC 3 phase is not my favor subject as I more into electronics.

so here is my understand of it:

• wye connection provide two different voltages
• delta provide more current.
• wye connection is more suitable for unbalanced load because it's neutral line.

apart from these, in when should I use a delta connection and when should I use a wye connection?

 

Don't understand "delta provide more current"? What does that mean?

I think the main advantage to the delta connection is that the power is transmitted using only 3 wires instead of 4. So cheaper and makes best use of the copper.
