Hi everyone.

I currently am using MPLAB IDE v8.60, and it's feeling rather outdated. I recently installed MPLAB X on my other laptop and I loved it, but it was still in beta and had several bugs. I was wondering if any of you know when Microchip plans to release it fully, so that I can make a decent upgrade?

That's best a question directed at the Microchip forums where some of the employees who work on the stuff do read and post.

I'm using MPLAB 8.70 along with several compilers and I have no issues at all, so I don't see any advantage to switch just yet.

 

It's been asked a few times on Microchip forums and there were no clues last time I looked.
