Got an old Proform MC-60 control board and 2 hp motor to build a 2x72 belt grinder. Trying to get the motor to work. With the sliding pot for speed, the led will light up but motor doesn't spin. The 12 volt led doesn't light up. Also noticed that the R37 resistor is missing. the motor will try to spin with 12 volts from a battery charger. Any help will be appreciated.

The 12v power LED has to be lit or at least the 12v has to be present, check the 24v diode voltage which is just to the right of the 12v LED, which is the LED that does light?
R37 is an option for different speeds on some boards.
Max.

Thank you Max. I am getting voltage there. Saw a post about the leds going bad. Changed the 12 and scr and now the board works and powers up the motor.
Thanks again
