    Hi all,
I currently work with the old version of Android studio 1.3 and I am thinking of upgrading to the newer version Android Studio 2.2 or later.
Has anyone used the latest version?
Do you think it will be more heavy on my laptop since my laptop is barely making it on the current older version.
Also, is there much of a difference with the newer version compared to the older version 1.x?
I HAVE read there are much more features on the newer version and less bugs.
    Thank you.

Android Studio requires high resources and a lot of memory to run smoothly. The older versions (1.x) needs around 4GIG of RAM so I am guessing the newer versions (2.x) needs twice the amount to run smoothly. So don't waste your time if you have an old PC with low resources you will dread programming and the initial start up of the IDE.
