I have signal generator with 50 ohm impedance
Is there any circuit to amplifier the current but let the voltage input=output?

Sugnal generator output:
Sign wave 5MHz
5 volt.

I want to amplify the output current its too low.

 

I'm not sure about the frequency responses, but I'm sure you can do something along these lines...

Common Collector amplifier can do it, but there are others too.

Basically, any voltage follower circuit that can operate near 5MHz should work...

i already use the Common Collector but its still not working , im trying to get 1mW output .....

Your original post said you had 5V and a 50Ω output. Are you getting 5V across a 50Ω load? If so, then is that 5V peak or RMS? If it's RMS, then you should be getting 500mW to the load. If it's not, then we need a lot more information about your signal generator and your load.

 

Current is related to the voltage by Ohm's Law, I = V/R.

If your load is 50Ω the the current is predetermined by the voltage.

Do you mean to enquire about increasing the current output capability of the signal generator when drive a load that is less than 50Ω?

What is the load that you are trying to drive?

What is the voltage that you are seeing across the load when connected to your generator?

What kind of voltage is it? Amplitude? RMS? Peak?

What is the shape of the waveform? Sinusoid? Triangle? Square?
