Linus and Lucy by Vince Guaraldi. As many dozens of times I've heard this in my deformative years, I never heard the WHOLE thing until now. Amazing.

I didn't count the bass notes, but to tin-ear John, I thought it was Boogie Woogie (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boogie-woogie ). Despite what that article says, the beat persisted into the early 50's to be replaced by Rock n'Roll, at least in SoCal. I guess it is in the family of jazz. I do like it.

It was the first "modern" beat I learned from a much older cousin.

This is the first "true contemporary jazz" I ever liked ... I must've listened to it thousands of times, and I never get tired of it.
