I guess it means there's a 100% chance you're breathing some of Julius Caesar's passed gas.

 

It is pretty disgusting whenever you think about the fact you are breathing the same air someone else just breathed. Let alone a guy from a few thousand years ago

 

The last breath was bogus. I have no problem with breathing the same molecules, nature recycles, it is how it works. You have to figure we share atoms that were used by every species on earth over time.

 

All I'd say is it's true only for nitrogen not oxygen which when breathed in tends to get fixed in the organisum for a very long time before it makes it back to the atmosphere. And its not disgusting as molecules are 'pure'. no viruses or bacteria here.
And of course it means that in your breath you breath in a molecule of every breath he ever breathed even his first breath, (Although his lungs were smaller). And of every other roman, etc etc etc. Some of these will be repeated molecules, but wow, you have a lung full of 98% of every single breath ever breathed by everyone. (With some time to mix it all up). Impressive!

absolutely ridiculous. Those molecules would have been broken down and recombined millions, if not billions of times since then.
