Hi all

my Aficionado wine cooler stopped working. Thought it was a starter relay like my mini fridge but no :(
I just see a couple fans and 2 pcb circuit boards. CD-110-C. 1 side I get nothing.. the other side the fans spin but the display is 23. I guess Celsius 73 degrees
Are the boards reparable or do I have to search for new ones?? Thank you

Welcome to AAC!

You might be in luck having arrived at the right place.
Firstly, try to take a better photo of one board, close up, well focused.
Post photos of both boards. They will be added to our collection of photos.

Your boards look like this one.

Capacitor C8 is the #1 culprit.
This is a 47μF 25V aluminum electrolytic capacitor.

Replace it.
Pay attention to the polarity of the old one and install the new one in the same orientation.

Let us know how this turns out.

Hi Mr Chips
Thank you for your helpful response!! Yes this is the exact same board...
Could there possibly be more components to replace besides C8?
I have 2 of the same boards... 1 doesn't power up... no fans or display.
I swapped the fan and it works on the other board/side... as the other
side I get display, and both fans spin... I just would rather replace all possible components at the same time...
47μF 25V aluminum electrolytic capacitor Where can I buy a few? link or site that hopefully excepts paypal would be great
Thank you again Richie

We cannot predict what components will need replacing without doing extensive trouble shooting.
You can replace multiple components, called "shotgun approach", but there is no guarantee that that will resolve the problem.

Examine all electrolytic capacitors.
Replace all that show any signs of bulging at the top or leaking brown crud at the top or bottom.
That is why I asked for photographs.

C8 is 47μF 25V
The link you posted is for 470μF.
You can go with higher voltage but not lower or higher capacitance without doing a circuit analysis.

Try this one instead.
