Hi i have a ad711 inverter but my output is staying at a plus voltage, when i need a minus voltage, basically my inverter aint inverting.

As described it is an AD711, the inverting input is coming from an DAC56U

any theories would great ty

basically my inverting input (pin2) is connected to my output (pin6) through a 33pF cap. sorry no schematics as its a company schematic and its a no no

Aha, so it's a case of asking people to guess the circuit and then guess what might be wrong.

Inverting with a capacitor between 2 and 6 will not work.
Normaly for an inverter pin 2 and 6 are connected with a wire directly.

The capacitor in the feedback path made it an integrator instead of an inverter.

 

how does the cap make it into an integrator?

An integrator is only possible with also signal on the - input over a resistor.
