No i actually thought it would increase. Are you worried about it dying out?
I think it has, here and on other electronics boards as well as non-electronic.I was wondering if activity on this board increased significantly since the Covid-19 problem has been keeping many of us home a lot more than usual.
This is interesting. Can you name a few of those sites here? There is a number of sites similar to Netflix allowing free access to all or part of their contents.
The same goes for one of the top porno sites, the Met and other 10 or maybe more museums around the world.
For what I read few days ago, the ladies doing private exhibition using their webcams (I ignore what protocol communication they use) have seen a huge increase in their activities.
In my area, ice cream parlors reconverted their scheme and are delivering much more than what used to sell on the counter.
Finally, my records include myself doing laundry of everything (alpargatas and even pillows), let me say with quite good results plus cooking my first steak after more than 6 years preparing rice, salads, pasta or steam cooked vegetables.
By family pressure I downloaded Zoom.Took me some two hours to find the setting disabling audio. Now the hear me and I hear them too.
Shame on me, MrAl; last night I learnt from one of my daughters that the news about Netflix and the other providers were a hoax. Since I do not watch TV or movies of any kind (not even a TV set at home) I took that for granted and forgot. Sorry for being so naive. Now wondering if they (Netflix) actually reduced the quality to minimize the bandwidth compromise.¿?This is interesting. Can you name a few of those sites here?
Oh hey no problem. You might tell me what you do though instead of TV or something because i was thinking of dumping my TV too as the price of cable TV has gone through the roof and it's not worth it anymore since there are so many repeats and dang advertisements. I just wonder what i would be able to replace it with.Shame on me, MrAl; last night I learnt from one of my daughters that the news about Netflix and the other providers were a hoax. Last night I visited the Sistine Chapel - Vatican - Link for some others, here . I am impressed by the quality.
Just in case the news about the top porno site is also a hoax, I will keep my tablet only for reading some .pdf about analog multipliers.
Stay safe; be well.
All my family subscribed Netflix. Most of them got hooked to one or more series. I am steering clear of them. Fear to feel the "necessity" of watching another chapter.Oh hey no problem. Maybe someone has experience with those internet streaming TV services or some other idea to replace TV.
I got myself a Roku stick a few months back and am about ready to ditch my Fios TV service; I haven't watched anything on it in weeks.Maybe someone has experience with those internet streaming TV services or some other idea to replace TV.
Dont you have to still pay for extra channels though?I got myself a Roku stick a few months back and am about ready to ditch my Fios TV service; I haven't watched anything on it in weeks.
The Roku gives me access to YouTube (there's actually quite a lot of good stuff on it, including documentaries, classical music and science programming), Amazon Prime Video (with a LOT of good stuff), which I get as an Amazon Prime subscriber, and some weather channels. I signed up for Netflix but I'll probably drop it, as I'm not too big on movies. The Roku also offers Hulu and some other services, but I haven't tried them (yet).
I usually watch a little Netflix daily. Every time I checked the video resolution it was maxed out. My wife and son watch TV and she tells me there are some paysites offering limited free access. Usually with ads... Or a free 2-4 week preview before they start charging your card.wondering if they (Netflix) actually reduced the quality to minimize the bandwidth compromise.¿?
/yrAmazon Prime Video is a paid service, included with Prime membership (≈ $100/mo.)
