Hi All,
I run a patent training program and I've been receiving several requests lately from law firms looking for EEs to become technical specialists and patent agents (without going to law school). Since EEs are in high-demand in this field, we have a 100% placement rate for EEs over the past 7 years. Although there is typically a financial investment for the training, we now have law firms that will sponsor training costs as well (contingent upon the individual accepting employment with the law firm). Starting salary for EEs is generally between $90-$100K, and there are also some opportunities to work remotely. Over the coming weeks, we will be hosting several virtual sessions discussing the transition into this profession. If you are interested in attending any of these sessions (free of charge), please send me a direct message.
Best regards,
Braxton
