In this circuit.
I need to determine the power dissipated in the resistance and also the reactive power delivered to the source V1.
Starting by writing the mesh equations for I1:
\(8I_{1} -I_{1}\cdot J2 + I_{2}\cdot J2 = 40\)
\(I_{2}J2 -I_{1}J2 +I_{2}J4 = -j20\)
Subtracting the second from the first gives
\(8I_{1} -I_{2}J4 = 40+j20\)
The correct answer is supposed to be \(8I_{1}-J4I_{1} = 40+J20\)
I don't really see where i went wrong =/
