About Analog Devices AN-423

I'm in the process of applying the design as presented in Analog Devices application notes AN-423, which presents a solution to implement amplitude modulation with the AD9850. I'm planning to use AD9851, which should mean no difference. However, I need to set a specific amplitude for the 100% modulation, and I'll have to change the resistor value. My question is, does changing the resistor value at the source of the MOSFET will change the 50% modulation set point at its gate?
