Hi, I currently just try and use AAC old theme, is looks very nice to me then latest theme, but some quirks happen and interesting, all sub forum its tagged with "New" even after I read it

 

all sub forum is tagged as "New", although its seems very nice theme to me, better than latest theme

 

Try to click the "Reload" function on your browser after you read it and check that does the "New" tag is still over there or not, or you can turn off the browser and reopen it again.

 

I think the "New" tag is tied to there being threads in that forum that are not marked as "Read".

If you go into a forum, there is a button over near the top-right that lets you mark the forum as Read.

Certainly works for me:

Initial:


Go into General Electronics Chat and click on "Mark read":


Confirm that I want to mark the forum as read.


Go back to the Forums page and it shows nothing new until someone posts something else (which can happen pretty quickly in General Electronics Chat).

If you at the main page https://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/ then you can see many "New" Tags on the subforums, it means that you have many contents of the subforums are unread, mine also have a lot, unless you want to check all the posts otherwise just let it go or click the Mark forums read and click the "Reload" at the left-top of the browser.
