Hello
How would I make analog logic to addres the 6 latest keys to the 6 vco's
Edit: no aftertouch/velocity detection

I want to do it like old polysynths.I don’t know know you would, but I wouldn’t. I would use digital logic, or better yet, a microcontroller.
I mean how would i give priority to the last 6 that are pressed and sent the appropriate cv to the oscillatorsWhat to do mean by ”analog logic”?
I understood that, but how are you distinguishing “analog logic” from, say digital logic? What do you expect the circuit to look like? What sort of components?I mean how would i give priority to the last 6 that are pressed and sent the appropriate cv to the oscillators
Opamps transistors resistors caps diodes...I understood that, but how are you distinguishing “analog logic” from, say digital logic? What do you expect the circuit to look like? What sort of components?
And the BoM would grow very fast. That’s why I asked for examples. I couldn’t think of any, though I didn’t do too much with polyphonic synth circuits at the time. We used Polymoogs, Fairlights, Rolands, and others—but they were appliances. The circuits I touched were for modular synths like this one from PAiA:Although you could make gates from opamps, it would then be a digital circuit, and far less efficient than using digital gates. All digital circuits use analog components in their implementation.
Ok i will try digital logicCould you give some examples of synthesizers that used analog components for handling polyhpony?
