My barrel connector cracked that connected to the rechargeable battery on a vacuum. When I took it apart the wires were not connected and I am going to bypass this connector. It also came with a separate charging base for the battery to detach it from back of vac and charge it separately instead of pushing connector into back of vacuum.
I have attached pictures of the 3 wires (red, white, black) from the end of the wall plug. The back of the wall charger and pics of the circuit board with the three wire connector. The wires on the connector to the board are brown, black and gray.
I want to connect the 3 wires from the wall plug either directly to the three wires from the circuit board, to a new miniature plastic 3 connector or to an external 2 piece 3 pin connector.
My question is, which color wires from the end of the wall plug should connect to which colors from the board?
