24v to 20v and 15A to 8.5A

Hello dear people. Can anyone help me build a DC laptop charger? I need to get from 24V down to 20V and from 15A to 8.5A. What solution do I have?? I couldn't find any for sale. Tnx

Welcome to AAC.
That current seems rather high for a laptop charger. from 15A to 8.5A.
Typically they are in the order of 2-3 Amps

I have the normal 220V charger and it say's on the output 8.5A and 20V. I need to build one for the 24V battery

hi D,
Although charger is rated for a maximum output current of 8.5A, the laptop that is charging will draw the required charge design current, say 2 to 3Amps.

To get down from I need to get from 24V down to 20V , you could buy a ready built step down converter.
I will check on eBay and post back.

Thanks but I already bought a 20V charger with 4.5A but is not enough
