Yea it has a power supply, The connector is a barrel jack.
Should I be looking for 9volts with my multimeter set to voltage?

Yes. Set it to 20 VDC.
When you get a chance take a sharp photo with your cell phone of the area where the power enters the board.

 

So lol, I got the synth turned on but it seems like I need to jam the barrel connector in super hard for it to work. So im guessing the jack doesn't work? The power supply was giving readings all over the place form 4 to 3 to 6 to 7 to 9. Don't really understand that though

I took some readings, and at one point I got 9volts on my multimeter but its crept down to 1.24 or so, when the board is on. Not sure if it's not getting enough power on startup. when the board is switched on, I only get a fraction of that around .33 or so Joints look pretty bad too
