Yes i think someone mentioned that previously.

The load for the standard test is C/20 so if your batt is 8AHr then 8/20=0.4 amps.
If you had a 4AHr battery it would be 4/20=0.2 amps.
If you had a 16AHr battery it would be 16/20=0.8 amps.
etc.

So just divide the capacity by 20 and you got it

 

Ok..I'll try cycling them a few times. I've heard of that with Li-Io batteries. Didn't know Pb-H2SO4 batteries were like that.

Pores in the plates open up a bit in the beginning, increasing the effective surface area. Then stuff starts to fall off...
