i was hoping someone could help me with my problem.
i need a way to convert my 12 V 1200W power supply output to an voltage of around 48 to 50V with 1000Watt.
i would like it if its a way i could get where i live(the netherlands) and low cost (lets say max 50 euro's) if you have an way but its more expensive dont hesitate to reply. if anybody has any other questions just ask.

Not going to happen for that price. Not likely for 5 - 10X that either unless you're very good at scrounging high power electronics components for old high power circuits.

Us knowing the source and the sink of the two voltages would be helpful.

 

To convert an existing converter you would need to find a schematic for the inverter, or else reverse-engineer it. Things like capacitors and ICs would have to be replaced to withstand the higher voltage. It would likely be cheaper (certainly a lot simpler) just to buy a suitable new inverter.

 

Just buy a power supply that fits your needs vs converting

Tcmtech i know it can be done cheaper then €250 cause i was looking at one for €120 before but was hoping it could be done cheaper
Alec_t i was not looking to convert an existing converter but indeed buy an new one.
Mcgyvr thank you for your input, i found yours indeed the best solution, and want ro especially thank you for that product number sinci i can buy it for €50 here which fits the price range quite nicely.

Also i found that i described what i needed quite poorly, i wanted to use 12 volt input cause i still had an 1200W server power supply laying around. Hp dps 1200 fb. And wanted to use it as a variable voltage source for some high power projects. Thats also why i found mcgyvrs soluten the best cause i found step down converters to be way cheaper
